SuperTintin

Some conversations are worth recording, but most instant messengers do not provide such features. Fortunately, SuperTintin offers an excellent solution. It enables you to record Skype conversations without any effort. The application is capable of capturing both audio and video streams, from one or both users.

SuperTintin is not free, but its trial version is fully functional, which means that you can use all its functions, without any restrictions. The application can be downloaded and installed in no time. Obviously, you need to have Skype on your computer, but you don't have to meet any other requirements.

The user interface is small and it does not present too many options. While talking on Skype, you just need to click a big red button, on SuperTintin's interface and the software will start recording right away. The application will detect the active streams in Skype automatically and it will display the number of audio streams as well as the local and remote webcams.

Before you start recording, you can decide to record the audio from one or both users and how to record the video. The program can record the webcam feeds in picture-in-picture mode, side-by-side or record them in separate files. Alternatively, you can set SuperTintin to record only one of the webcams.

Recordings are saved automatically and they are listed on the application's interface. You can play a selected recording, delete it or open its containing folder. While recording, the program will capture the original media data and prevent data loss at the same time. The video quality will remain unaltered, regardless of what you do on your screen.
